Saturday, January 3, 2009 Healthy Start 2009

Happy New Year viewers! (I know it's late, but still, happy new year!)


Healthy Start 2009 on 3rd January 2009, Organized by Rotary Club of Suntec City... It was indeed a really healthy start! To start off with the walk, we had to climb 275 flights of stairs at Mount Faber Park before the ACTUAL start of the walk!


Yun Hui and Janice plus some Rotarians at the back: "Oh no, how many more flights of stairs to go? Long time no exercise already! It is indeed a Healthy Start!"


Felix and Mr. Yeo climbing and chit chatting on the way =)



We finally reach a meeting point with nice scenery at the back, and took a group photo. A passer-by uncle help us took our photographs. And I believe it's the first time he's using a digital camera... But in any case, he took it well! Thanks (Unknown) Uncle!

Then we walk and walk and walk and finally reach the Henderson Waves.

After walking through the Henderson Waves, we reached an undulating bridge that sits high across Henderson Road and connects Mount Faber Park to Telok Blangah Hill park. (Actually we didn't walk through the bright but we run through it!!)




Interactors, together with some Rotarians, especially Rtn. David, ran on the bridge! Time for a good work out EVGians!! We ran to the end point of the bridge, and ran/walk back =) We are fit!!


Back - Mr. Yeo's satisfied face after a good run =)

Lastly, we had a good Brunch at the kopitiam nearby, treated by the Rotarians. Thanks Rotarians! In conclusion, the Healthy Walk is a successful one! All of us had a good time working out! Including the always having busy schedules Rotarians! =)
